Developing bright, healthy smiles for every child
Many parents have the misconception that their children do not need to visit a dentist since their kids’ baby teeth will fall out eventually. However, your child’s dental health is an essential aspect of their overall health. Tooth decay in baby teeth can lead to pain, which can affect eating and sleeping, and can also cause infection or even fever.
We recommend finding a dentist that your child feels comfortable with every visit if you want your child to grow up with a healthy and beautiful smile. The Singapore Dental Association recommends that parents bring children to a dentist for their first visit within 6 months of eruption of the first primary tooth and no later than 12 months of age.
At Thomson Dental Centre, we love seeing children at our practice. We look forward to seeing kids’ faces light up with smiles. Our trained paediatric dentists with credible background experience will do their best to help patients feel happy and positive about their visits. We offer extensive dental services for kids of all ages – from infants and toddlers to young children, tweens, and teens.

Scheduling your child's first dental visit
During this visit, our dentist will assess your child's teeth to ensure they are developing correctly and examine for any signs of hidden decay, cavities, or other concerns. If necessary, we may perform teeth polishing. Additionally, the dentist will educate you on how to effectively care for your child's teeth and gums. Feel free to consult our dentists for any questions related to your child's oral health.
