Dr Chen Xinying is a Anaesthesiologist practising at CXY Medical located at Novena. Before entering private practice in November 2024, Dr Chen worked at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for 11 years. She served as a Senior Consultant for nearly 3 years (2022-2024) and as a Consultant for 6 years (2016-2022). Since 2016, she held the position of Clinical Lead for Neuroanaesthesia, where she developed neurocritical care guidelines for traumatic brain injury and subarachnoid haemorrhage. She worked on developing ROTEM-guided massive transfusion protocol and perioperative transfusion management for trauma cases.
Dr Chen has been involved in medical education as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and as a Clinical Teacher, Content Expert and Clinical Practice Facilitator at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine from 2016 to November 2024. She has participated in trauma workgroups as an anaesthesia representative.
Dr Chen is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
