Dr. Han is an obstetrician and gynaecologist specialising in urogynaecology at HC Han Clinic for Women, in Novena. He has over 33 years of experience in managing a wide range of OBGYN conditions.

Dr. Han has made significant contributions to the field of urogynaecology, including being instrumental in the establishment of the urogynaecology centre at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He is noted for being one of the earliest practitioners in Singapore to perform mid-urethral sling continence surgery and to use vaginal mesh in pelvic organ reconstructive surgery.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Han has achieved remarkable milestones in surgical practice. He has performed over 10,000 vaginal hysterectomies and more than 5,000 mid-urethral sling continence surgeries. Additionally, he has conducted over 2,000 vaginal mesh surgeries and delivered more than 10,000 babies, underscoring his extensive expertise and dedication to his field.

Dr. Han graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and has since dedicated his career to advancing the field. His research focuses extensively on incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, and he has published numerous articles in medical journals and reviews on these subjects. Dr. Han is a well-regarded international speaker, presenting posters and oral presentations at conferences globally. He has also authored and co-authored several books in the discipline.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Han served as an adjunct associate professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was also a clinical physician faculty member for the SingHealth obstetrics and gynaecology residency programme.

Dr. Han is an active member of the International Continence Society and the International Urogynaecological Association. His contributions to the field have been recognized with several awards, including the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards, Long Service Awards, SingHealth Quality Service Award, and the KKH Service from the Heart Award.
