Dr Lam Pin Min

Dr Lam Pin Min is an Ophthalmologist Practising at Eagle Eye Centre, in Novena and Joo Chiat. He specialises in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus management, myopia control, and adult comprehensive ophthalmology.

Dr Lam graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He later obtained his Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh in 2000. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate Diploma in Aviation Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in London, earned in 1997.

As a trained specialist in paediatric ophthalmology, Dr Lam worked at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital from 2005 to 2013 before transitioning to private practice in 2014. He continues to contribute to the public healthcare sector as a Visiting Senior Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre.

Dr Lam has also represented Singapore in international health forums, including serving as a Singapore representative in the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office (WPRO) from 2014 to 2020, and as an Executive Board Member of the World Health Organisation (WHO) from 2019 to 2020.

Dr Lam is accredited to practice at Thomson Medical Centre, and several medical institutions including Mount Alvernia Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, and Parkway East Medical Centre.
