Dr Mohammed Tauqeer Ahmad is a neurologist at Neurology International Clinic, in Napier.

Dr Ahmad specialises in treating stroke, headaches, neuropathy, and movement disorders. He is experienced in neuro-intervention for stroke patients and utilises Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's Disease.

Dr Ahmad graduated from Aligarh Muslim University in 1995. He obtained his MRCP in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians, London, in 2006, and his M Med in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore. He further received his FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, a Fellowship from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in both Neurology and Internal Medicine, as well as an MRCPS (Glasgow) and an MD in General Medicine.

Before establishing his own practice, Dr Ahmad was a consultant in the Department of Neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute (SGH Campus) until 2012. He then joined the Raffles Neuroscience Centre as a consultant and eventually headed the Department of Neuroscience at Raffles Hospital.
