Dr Ng Kheng Hong is a colorectal surgeon practising at KH Ng Colorectal & Minimally Invasive Surgery, in Napier. His expertise includes minimally invasive surgery for colorectal cancer, gallbladder stones, appendicitis, and hernias. He also treats conditions such as abdominal pain, anal abscesses, constipation, diarrhoea, gastric pain, piles, and rectal bleeding.

Dr Ng began his surgical training at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) in 2000 and furthered his training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University of Birmingham, UK, in 2004. He received a Ministry of Health fellowship for advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery training. He served as Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at SGH before transitioning to private practice in 2010.

He is an adjunct assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and a visiting senior consultant surgeon at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He has received the SingHealth HMDP Fellowship Award and the Long Service Award from SGH.

Dr Ng is the Chairman of the Chapter of General Surgeons at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and has chaired the Medical Quality Assurance Committee and the Medical Advisory Board at Gleneagles Hospital. He is frequently invited to lecture on single incision laparoscopic surgery both locally and internationally.

Dr Ng has published over 30 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, including notable works in the British Journal of Surgery and Annals of Surgery.
