Dr Radhika Lakshmanan

Dr Radhika Lakshmanan is a Breast Surgeon practising at Radhika Breast & General Surgery in Novena. She specialises in breast and oncoplastic surgery, offering comprehensive care for a wide range of breast conditions, including breast cancer, benign breast lumps, cysts, and male breast disorders such as gynecomastia.

Dr Radhika obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1997, followed by a Master of Medicine in Surgery. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008. Her advanced training in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery was completed at the prestigious Nottingham Breast Institute in the United Kingdom, where she served as an Honorary Clinical Fellow. This fellowship, supported by the Ministry of Health's Human Manpower Development Program, allowed her to refine her expertise in managing complex breast conditions and performing advanced surgical techniques.

Before moving into private practice, Dr Radhika held the position of Clinical Lead in Surgery at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a joint medical school by Nanyang Technological University and Imperial College London. Her commitment to education extends to the public, as she actively participates in breast cancer awareness seminars and contributes to the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation and Singapore Cancer Society.

Dr Radhika's surgical expertise includes oncoplastic breast surgery, a specialised field that integrates plastic surgery techniques with breast cancer surgery to achieve optimal cosmetic outcomes. She is dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field by continually updating her skills through participation in local, regional, and international forums.

Dr Radhika Lakshmanan is accredited to perform surgical procedures in Thomson Medical Centre, Farrer Park Hospital, and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals.
