Dr Tan Yew Ghee is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Raffles Women's Centre, in Bugis.
He has over 15 years of experience and specialises in specialised ultrasound including 3-D scanning, high-risk obstetrics, pain-free labour with epidural analgesia, and post-caesarean section "Painbuster" pain-free management system. He offers complete antenatal and delivery care.
Dr Tan's expertise includes advanced minimally-invasive (keyhole) surgery for the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and infertility. He is proficient in advanced hysterectomy methods, including laparoscopically-assisted vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy, and total laparoscopic hysterectomy. His services extend to the treatment of genital prolapse and urinary stress incontinence using the Tension-free Vaginal Tape (TVT and IVS). Dr Tan also specialises in the detection and treatment of pre-invasive and invasive cancers of the cervix, uterus, and ovaries, plastic surgery of the genital organs, infertility investigation, sex therapy counseling, and menopause investigation and treatment.
Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in the United Kingdom and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
