Dr Jonathan Teo is a highly skilled Urologist at Urohealth Medical Clinic in Thomson, Novena, and Orchard.
He specialises in andrology, subfertility, minimally invasive treatments of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), penile prosthesis surgeries, correction of penile deformities, varicocelectomy, and microscopic testicular sperm extractions.
Dr Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his specialist urology training under the SingHealth Urology Residency Programme. He further advanced his expertise in andrology through subspecialty training in South Korea, the UK, and the USA. Notably, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Urology Department at Sengkang General Hospital.
Previously, Dr Teo was a consultant urologist and Director of Andrology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where he also served on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Medical Device Committee. He contributed to evaluating cost-effective drugs and medical devices for hospital use and was a member of the Ministry of Health's Medical Device Committee.
In academia, Dr Teo has published numerous articles on BPH treatment and andrology. He has held teaching positions as a Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Assistant Adjunct Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, and Clinical Tutor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was also a faculty member of the SingHealth Urology Residency Programme, actively involved in the training and education of urology residents.
Dr Teo is a Korean fellowship-trained consultant and an elected executive committee member of the Society of Men’s Health Singapore. His clinical interests extend to bladder cancer, kidney cancer, overactive bladder, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Dr Teo is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Mount Alvernia Hospital, Farrer Park Hospital, Mt Elizabeth Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital.
