Dr Toh Khai Lee is a certified Urologist. He currently runs his own private practice Toh Khai Lee Urology Clinic located in Orchard.
Dr Toh's clinical focus includes reconstructive urology, urodynamics and voiding dysfunction. He provides treatment for urinary stone diseases and urological cancers including kidney, bladder and prostate cancers using various surgical techniques. His practice encompasses treatment for females with urinary leakage, including stress incontinence and urge incontinence. Dr Toh is also a gazetted Kidney Transplant surgeon in Singapore.
Dr Toh received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore. He obtained post-graduate surgical qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. His training includes specialist urological training in Singapore followed by subspecialty fellowships at Duke University, North Carolina and William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan in the United States. He is a certified specialist in Urology and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS).
Before establishing his current practice, Dr Toh served as the Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. During his tenure, he contributed to urological services and training.
Dr Toh has participated in medical research as an institutional principal investigator in clinical research trials and has published scientific papers in his field. He serves as a reviewer for urological journals and is an Associate Editor of International Nephrology & Urology. Dr Toh has presented at medical conferences in various countries including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. He has participated in humanitarian medical missions in Indonesia, Laos, East Timor, Nepal, and Pakistan, and served during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr Toh is a past President of the Singapore Urological Association (2012-2014) and has held various leadership positions in professional organisations.
Dr Toh is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
