Dr Benjamin Seah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and the Medical Director at Total Orthopaedic Care & Surgery. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Thomson Specialists Woodleigh.

Dr Seah's clinical interests include complex shoulder and elbow pathologies, such as fractures, instability, and joint reconstruction.

He graduated from University College London in 2008, receiving the University College London-Singapore Undergraduate Scholarship. During his undergraduate years, he spent a year researching at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, UK, graduating top of his class with First Class Honours in Orthopaedic Sciences (Bachelor of Science) in 2005. He obtained his postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2011 and his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2013. As part of the pioneer batch of Orthopaedic Residency Trainees in SingHealth, he achieved his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2017.

Before transitioning to private practice, Dr Seah was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Shoulder and Elbow Service Lead at Sengkang General Hospital, where he managed complex shoulder and elbow injuries, including fractures, ligament injuries, arthroscopy, tendon transfers, and joint replacements.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Seah is actively involved in medical education and mentoring future doctors and nurses. He has been a Clinical Tutor for LKC School of Medicine and YLL-NUS School of Medicine, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, and an AO Trauma ORP regional contributor for nurses. Recently, he served as the Chair of the AO Trauma Basic Course (2022) for Surgeons. He regularly teaches medical students and has been an examiner for the YLL-NUS Orthopaedic Examinations.

Dr Seah has presented at numerous conferences locally and internationally and has published various book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Seah is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
