Dr Ho Sue Ann, Ju Ee, is a dermatologist at Medical and Surgical Dermatology clinic, in Novena. Dr Ho specialises in skin cancers and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, recognised as the gold standard in skin cancer treatment. Her expertise also includes general dermatology cases such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and hidradenitis suppurativa.

Dr Ho completed her medical education at NUS, followed by basic specialist training in Internal Medicine. She then pursued dermatology training as an Advanced Specialist Trainee in Dermatology. Her commitment to advancing her field was recognised with the prestigious Academic Medicine Development Award from NUH, enabling her to undertake further training in dermatology surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Scotland.

Previously, Dr Ho served as a Consultant and Assistant Professor with the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), she was a Consultant and led the Skin Tumour Group, playing a crucial role in establishing the Skin Tumour Board.

Dr Ho established NUHS’s first Mohs Micrographic Surgery service in 2015 and has successfully performed over 500 Mohs surgeries. She also spearheaded a female skin cancer surveillance service, catering to patients with a history of skin cancers and those with risk factors such as post-transplant individuals.

Dr Ho has held significant leadership roles, including Clinical Director for Dermatology at NUH and Deputy Undergraduate Medical Education Director for Medicine at YLLSoM, NUS, and NUHS. In 2020, she was honoured with the Fortitude Award for her contributions to medical education during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is passionate about teaching, having instructed medical students and junior doctors in dermatology and overseeing Phase 3 medical students during their internal medicine postings.

Dr Ho has made substantial contributions to medical knowledge through co-authoring approximately 20 publications and poster presentations. She has presented at numerous international conferences, earning accolades such as the Best Audit Presentation at the Scottish Dermatology Society and the Best Poster at the British Association of Dermatologists Annual Meeting in 2015.
