Dr Kok Wai Leong

Dr Kok Wai Leong is a dermatologist at Starmed Specialist Centre, in Farrer Park.

Dr Kok specialises in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, photodermatology, and skin cancers. He is highly experienced in managing general dermatology conditions for both adults and children, addressing skin allergies, performing skin surgeries, and providing aesthetic and laser procedures.

Dr Kok graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine in dermatology. His extensive training and commitment to the field have shaped his expertise and dedication to patient care.

Before transitioning to private practice, Dr Kok held notable positions as a visiting consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, and the National Skin Centre. Additionally, he served as a dermatologist and chairman of the dermatology medical board at the Singapore Armed Forces’ Military Medicine Institute.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Kok has been actively involved in academia as a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. His contributions to clinical research have been recognised at regional and international meetings, and he has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as a reviewer for international dermatological journals.

Dr Kok is an esteemed member of several professional organisations, including the Dermatological Society of Singapore, the Chapter of Dermatology at the College of Physicians, Singapore, the Asian Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr Kok Wai Leong is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and Mount Alvernia Hospital.
