Dr Lee Le Ye is a Consultant Paediatrician, currently serves as the Medical Director at SPARK (Singapore PAediatric caRe for Kids) Pte Ltd.

Dr Lee sub-specialises in neonatology with particular focus on providing comprehensive care for newborns requiring intensive care. Her clinical interests encompass neonatal screening programmes, nutritional management of Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) infants and term neonates, as well as palliative care for stillbirths, neonates and paediatric patients. She has started a programme for alternative care plans for infants with palliative care needs and stillbirths, demonstrating her commitment to compassionate and holistic patient care.

Her educational journey began at the National University of Singapore where she earned her medical degree, followed by speciality qualifications in paediatrics and sub-specialisation in neonatology. In 2024, she furthered her study by completing a Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine, reflecting her dedication to providing comprehensive end-of-life care for young patients.

Prior to private practice, Dr Lee served as a Senior Consultant with the Department of Neonatology at the National University Healthcare System, Singapore. She also held the position of Assistant Professor and was a faculty member at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, contributing to the education of future paediatricians.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Lee has conducted significant research, obtaining numerous grants for studies on neonatal jaundice, hepatitis B vertical transmission, COVID-19 vertical transmission, and newborn nutrition. Her findings have been published in both local and international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

Outside her work, Dr Lee has been an active volunteer with Hospice Care Association since 2020 and has participated in programmes such as Weekend Warrior, Oasis Day Care, and Virgil Angel. Her international volunteer experience includes teaching neonatal care skills at Angkor Children's Hospital in Siem Reap and Chenla Children's Healthcare in Kratie.

When not attending to her patients, she enjoys cycling, solving puzzles, reading, and raising funds for charitable causes.
