Dr Lee Le Ye is a Consultant Paediatrician, with a sub-specialty in Neonatology. Her specialty interests are newborn infections, vaccine efficacy, newborn health screening, and the enhancement of neonatal nutrition for Very Low Birth Weights (VLBWs).
Graduating with honors on the Dean's List from the National University of Singapore in 1999, Dr Lee obtained her specialty qualifications in Paediatrics, further specialising in Neonatology since 2009.
Before going into private practice, Dr Lee was a senior consultant in the Department of Neonatology at the National University Healthcare System, Singapore, for 7 years. Her work involves managing both inpatient and outpatient neonatal care.
Pioneering an alternative care plan for infants with palliative care needs and stillbirths, she demonstrates a holistic approach to neonatal well-being. Currently, she is on the committee with the Chapter of Neonatology at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr Lee was also an Assistant Professor and was teaching at the Paediatric faculty for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). She obtained numerous grants on neonatal jaundice, hepatitis B vertical transmission, Covid-19 vertical transmission, and newborn nutrition. She has published in local and international peer-reviewed journals and authored book chapters.
Her mission is to support parents on their parenthood journey through compassionate and expert care.
Dr Lee is accredited at several hospitals including Thomson Medical Centre.
