Dr Natascha Ekawati Putri Bunjamin is a Consultant General Surgeon, with a sub-speciality interest in surgical oncology, at Cancer Surgery International in Napier. She treats a range of head and neck conditions, including thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland disorders, melanoma, skin cancer, lymph node cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer and oral and pharyngeal cancer.

Her practice includes general surgery for non-cancerous and cancerous conditions (surgical oncology), including hernia repair, gallstone treatment and haemorrhoid treatment. Dr Putri also performs diagnostic procedures such as endoscopic nasoendoscopy, gastrostomy, oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) and colonoscopy.

She completed her medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she obtained her MBBS degree. She continued her training with a Master of Medicine in Surgery (MMed) and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS).

Her subspeciality training includes clinical fellowships at the SingHealth-Duke NUS Head and Neck Centre and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in the USA, in conjunction with the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies global fellowship programme.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr Putri was a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon in the Department of Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and Singapore General Hospital. She is also a visiting consultant at the NCCS and the National University Centre for Oral Health. During her tenure at the NCCS, she contributed to healthcare innovation by introducing the telemedicine video consultation service.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Putri is involved in medical education as a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a clinical assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. She is also a faculty member of the SingHealth General Surgery Residency Programme. She is the recipient of the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (2020-2022) and the SingHealth Long Service Award (2019).

Dr Putri is accredited to perform surgical procedures at the Thomson Medical Centre.
