Dr Howard Park is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, currently practising at Park Orthopaedics, in Thomson.

Dr Park specialises in general orthopaedic surgery with subspecialty interests in foot and ankle surgery, as well as reconstructive and minimally invasive surgery for complex deformities in diabetic patients.

Dr Park graduated from The University of Auckland, New Zealand, and furthered his research as a fellow on the academic team at University College London and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, UK. His research focused on cartilage disease and rare bone tumours. He underwent postgraduate orthopaedic surgical training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and several teaching hospitals in London, including the Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and the Royal Free Hospital.

Dr Park is dual-fellowship trained in orthopaedic trauma surgery, and foot and ankle surgery. He expanded his expertise internationally through the British Orthopaedic Association’s travelling fellowships in India, France, and Germany. He holds the Intercollegiate Fellowship in trauma and orthopaedic surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Before relocating to Singapore, Dr Park served as a consultant at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. He was a senior consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and a visiting consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He continues to be a visiting consultant at KTPH.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Park has contributed significantly to medical education and research. He has published 23 articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored two textbook chapters on foot and ankle surgery, and serves on the editorial review panel for British, European, and American Orthopaedic surgery journals.

Dr Park is registered with both the General Medical Council in the UK and the Singapore Medical Council as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery. He is a recipient of the Service Champion Award at KTPH.
