Dr Angelin Tan Yean Swee is a paediatrician at Angelin’s Baby & Child Clinic, in Woodlands, and SWC Paediatric Clinic (Alvernia). She has extensive experience in caring for newborns, children, and adolescents.

Dr Tan specialises in paediatric care, including the management of conditions such as chickenpox, chronic diarrhoea, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and non-neurological manifestations of intracranial tumours. She does not perform surgical procedures but provides comprehensive care for newborns.

Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1983 and obtained her Master's in Paediatrics in 1990.

Before starting her private practice, Dr Tan worked at the National University Hospital (NUH) for approximately 13 years. During her tenure at NUH, she played a pivotal role in establishing the ambulatory paediatrics division and facilitated multidisciplinary clinics.

Dr Tan has published numerous papers in medical journals such as the British Medical Journal, European Journal of Paediatrics, and The Journal of the Singapore Paediatric Society. Her research covers various topics including the varicella vaccine, chronic diarrhoea, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, parenteral nutritional support, and the non-neurological manifestations of intracranial tumours.
