Dr Quan Wai Leong is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist, practising at GI Endoscopy and Liver Centre @ Royal Square, in Novena. He has extensive expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures, including luminal stent placement, ERCP, Cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS/FNA), and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR/ESD).

Dr Quan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1992. He received his Membership from the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP UK) in 1998 and completed advanced specialty training in Gastroenterology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He further honed his skills as a visiting scholar at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong, specialising in Interventional Endoscopy. Dr Quan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP Edin) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in Gastroenterology.

Before his private practice, Dr Quan served as the Director of the Endoscopy Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2010 to 2017. During his tenure, he established a computerised simulation training service for endoscopy and introduced the SpyGlass cholangioscopy system in Singapore, enhancing the treatment of large bile duct stones and complex strictures. He has also been a visiting consultant at Khoo Teck Puat and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, contributing his expertise in advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr Quan Wai Leong is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and Mount Alvernia Hospital.
