Dr Lee Chee Wan is a Cardiologist practising at Cardiac Centre International, in Orchard. He specialises in managing heart rhythm disorders, including the implantation of cardiac devices and catheter ablation procedures. Dr Lee has extensive expertise in cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and coronary angiography.

Dr Lee graduated with first-class honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1998, supported by the John Crawford Scholarship Scheme. He pursued further postgraduate training in Oxford and specialist cardiology training in Cambridge, where he obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Cardiology. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree from the University of Oxford, supported by the Wellcome Trust Fellowship for cardiovascular research. Dr Lee is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international medical journals.

In his role as a senior consultant, Dr Lee has developed a keen interest in advanced cardiac procedures, including the implantation of loop recorders, pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronisation therapy. His proficiency also extends to catheter ablation and coronary angiography.

Dr Lee’s international experience includes 18 months at Toronto General Hospital, Canada, where he further honed his skills in complex cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. Locally, he served as the senior consultant and head of the Department of Cardiology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he also directed the Cardiovascular Centre and the Coronary Care Unit. He has been a visiting consultant at the National Heart Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a Clinical Teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Dr Lee is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre and Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.
