Dr Woo Jia Wei

Dr Woo is a cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in multimodality cardiac imaging at Sunrise Heart and Internal Medicine Clinic, in Sembawang. He is experienced in using various cardiac imaging techniques to come up with accurate cardiac diagnoses for further management and treatment.

Dr Woo is formally trained in Cardiac CT in the prestigious John's Hopkins Hospital in the US and Harefield Hospital in the UK. He completed his cardiac MRI fellowship with world renowned Berlin Heart Centre in Germany. During the course of his sub-specialty training, he had attained diplomates in adult echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. As such, he is experienced and competent in conducting and reporting echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, cardiac CTs, cardiac MRIs and stress cardiac MRIs. He has also published and reviewed in several medical journals and has been invited to speak at several international conferences.

When he is not taking pictures of the human heart out of work hours, Dr Woo takes pictures and videos of nature and wildlife as his hobby.
