Dr Yeo Wee Song is a highly respected paediatric nephrologist currently practising at KidsNexus Paediatric Centre, in Thomson.

Dr Yeo specialises in paediatric nephrology, encompassing general nephrology, critical care nephrology, and renal transplantation. Additionally, he manages general ambulatory paediatric patients, offering services such as well-baby checks, vaccinations, and treatment of common childhood illnesses.

Dr Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2001 and obtained his Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) in 2006. He has been a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom) since 2006 and is accredited as a specialist in both Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Nephrology by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. His contributions to clinical and research work have earned him fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and the American Society of Nephrology. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Before moving to the private sector, Dr Yeo served as a Consultant Paediatrician at the Division of Paediatric Nephrology, Dialysis, and Renal Transplantation at the Department of Paediatrics, Khoo Teck Puat-National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital.

Dr Yeo is an avid researcher with significant contributions to transplant immunology and the immunological basis of childhood nephrotic syndrome. His interest in bioengineering and medical device development is evident in his recent publication on bioengineering in renal transplantation in the journal 'Pediatric Nephrology’. Dr Yeo has received several scholarships, including the prestigious ExxonMobil-NUS Research Fellowship and the NRF-MOH AST PhD research scholarship. His research has garnered more than ten scientific awards, such as the Young Investigator Awards at the 11th Asian Congress of Pediatric Nephrology and the 8th Congress of Asian Society for Pediatric Research, as well as a Poster of Excellence at the World Transplant Congress in 2014. Additionally, he received the Wong Hock Boon-SMA Outstanding Mentor Award in 2017.
